VoidPixel Creations (ABN: 50960473836) ("we", "us", "our") operates the BudgetPlate mobile application ("the App"). By downloading, accessing, or using BudgetPlate, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
BudgetPlate helps you plan weekly meals and shopping lists based on grocery specials. Recipe and pricing content is generated using AI, based on publicly published catalogues from Woolworths, Coles and Aldi. A person reviews each week's import before it goes live.
BudgetPlate is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Woolworths, Coles, Aldi, or any other retailer named in the App. All retailer names and trade marks belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe where pricing information originates.
Content in the App — including recipes, pricing and nutritional information — is general information only. Prices may differ from your local store, catalogue offers can change or sell out, and you should always confirm the price and availability in-store or on the retailer's own website before making purchasing decisions. BudgetPlate is not a substitute for professional dietary, nutritional, or financial advice.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login details secure. You're responsible for activity that happens under your account. You can request deletion of your account at any time (see our Privacy Policy).
BudgetPlate offers a free tier and a paid "Pro" subscription. Pro pricing is shown in the App and in your app store listing at the time of purchase, in Australian dollars, inclusive of GST where applicable.
New Pro subscribers receive a 7-day free trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription automatically converts to a paid subscription and you will be charged the then-current Pro price. You can cancel any time during the trial at no cost.
Pro subscriptions automatically renew each billing period (monthly, unless stated otherwise) until cancelled. Payment is processed through Google Play Billing, and subscription management is handled in part through RevenueCat. Your payment method will be charged automatically at the start of each renewal period.
You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Google Play account (Menu → Subscriptions). Cancelling stops future renewals but does not end your current paid period early — you'll keep Pro access until the end of the period you've already paid for.
If we change the price of a Pro subscription, we will give you reasonable notice before the change takes effect. Continuing your subscription after that point means you accept the new price. You can cancel before the change takes effect if you don't agree.
Refunds are handled in line with Google Play's refund policies and your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (see clause 5). Beyond what the law or Google Play's policies require, we don't generally offer refunds for partial billing periods or unused time.
If you joined BudgetPlate during an open testing or beta period, any access arrangement communicated to you at that time (for example, extended or complimentary Pro access) will be honoured as described to you, subject to these Terms.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) or other applicable law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where our liability for breach of a guarantee cannot be excluded but can be limited, our liability is limited (at our option, and to the extent permitted by law) to re-supplying the service or paying the cost of having it re-supplied.

The App, its design, and its underlying software are owned by VoidPixel Creations. AI-generated recipe and content structures are provided for your personal use within the App and are not licensed for commercial redistribution.
To the extent permitted by law, and subject to clause 5, VoidPixel Creations is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the App, including loss arising from inaccurate pricing or recipe information. Nothing in this clause limits liability for our own negligence or wilful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you via push notification or email. Continued use of BudgetPlate after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
If you have a complaint, contact us first at support@budgetplate.com.au and we'll aim to resolve it directly. You can also lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au) for privacy matters, or the ACCC (accc.gov.au) for consumer law matters.
